Minor or cosmetic changes.

• The "Select..." button at the top of the ArtiCAD screen has been renamed "Search..." to better describe what its function is.
• You can change the save location for your plans and page layouts from within ArtiCAD (such as onto a shared drive or network). Click "Special" - "Edit Current Room System.ini", "Files" tab.
• Unit labels can now be displayed in elevation views and you can change the font used to display them.
• You can now filter the global material list that you get to by going into the 'This Design'->'Photo realism colours' so that you can quickly find the material you wish to change.
• If you have a HASP rental license you can now renew it from within ArtiCAD.
• When you put a rotate command into the design, it will now show the angle of rotation in the unit code entry box.
• Images in the 'Browse Images' window can now have a drop shadow added for effect.
• Items in a Page layout can be cycled through using the TAB key.
• Items in a Page layout can be reordered on screen by right clicking on them and choosing to 'bring to front' or 'push behind'. Which allows you to for example choose whether one picture is behind another or infront.
• In Page layout the 'Arrow' option has new styles 'dotted' or 'dashed', additionally you can now specify that you want to draw a line instead of an arrow also using these new styles.
• Added 3D photorealism and HD lighting rendering techniques, under advanced 3D options you can now select between 'normal', 'progressive' and 'scanline'. Progressive will draw a quick blocky render that is refined over time, this allows a quick idea of what a render will look like without having to render the entire high quality image. Scanline is an older rendering style from v16 which some users may prefer.

• When you choose to change door styles on units or choosing appliances like taps, sinks, oven options, or selecting different handles on doors, ArtiCAD will display a progress bar to show how much more is left to do.

  

  NOTE - the first time you select a particular appliance or handle manufacturer ArtiCAD will create the colour renderings of the appliance/taps. This will take longer than normal (possibly several minutes depending on the number of appliances/handles and the speed of your computer). However when you next choose that manufacturer it will take a few seconds to load.

• Materials can be individually set to be locked to either the object or the world (i.e. the start of the wall run that item is on). For example with pictures where you want the image to start from the bottom left of the picture you would choose "Object". Whereas for windows you might want the image to span across multiple windows in the scene you would choose "World".

  

  Edit the material, click on the "Advanced" tab and change the "Mapping Origin" to the desired option.
